Everything is fun - as long as I can work creatively...
Sometimes I envy people who only work for one cause or have only one hobby - and become really good at it. My whole life I have worked with a lot of different things. I became quite good at a lot of things, but there is always something new waiting and needs to be tried. And I think I just have to keep doing it :-)!
Illustrations for children's books
I love Birger! He is a tough little troll who experiences many exciting things. I have made drawings for Rita Johnsrud, who is the author of 3 children's books in the Birger series (Rettfram-forlag).
Airbrush
I was completely fascinated by what you can do with airbrush guns! On house walls, cars, snowboards, in the barn or just on paper/canvas. Unfortunately I sold the equipment due to lack of time, but it's itching my fingers - I won't rule out starting again...
Drawings and paintings
Although I really like colors when it comes to nature, clothes and interiors, I love drawing with just a pencil. The simplest is often the best.
I think it's the similarity to the engravings that makes me prefer this technique.
Photographs
I don't know how often my husband has been dismayed by my interest in photography.
Hunting, hiking, out in a kayak or sailboat, on a car trip, bike ride, camping trip - everywhere he has to wait for me because I just want to... take a picture :-)...
